MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) files are a fantastic tool for learning piano, especially if you don’t read sheet music. These files allow you to play, pause, adjust the tempo, and transpose songs with ease. To use MIDI files, you’ll need a MIDI player. I highly recommend Synthesia, an intuitive application available for Mac, Windows, and iPad (iOS). Synthesia visually displays notes in a way that makes learning both engaging and accessible.

All lessons are currently conducted online through Zoom, allowing students worldwide to participate. we also have lessons in person for individuals in the Los Angeles area

Yes. Every Zoom lesson is recorded so students can review the material afterward for continued study and practice.

Lessons may include Gospel chords and songs, progressions, ear training, improvisation, accompaniment, choir harmonies, the Nashville Number System, transcription techniques, church musicianship, and more based on your individual goals.
