Beyond the Notes
Learning Gospel piano is about more than memorizing chords or playing the right notes. When you're playing in church, you have to pay attention to more than the keyboard. You're listening to the singers and choir, following the worship leader, and staying aware of what's happening throughout the service. That helps you know when to support, when to build, and when to step back so the music serves the moment.
For me, that awareness also includes spiritual sensitivity. I want to help you recognize and respond to God's leading, support the message being shared, and make thoughtful musical choices instead of playing just to fill the space. My goal is to help you become a confident musician who understands not only what to play, but why and when to play it.
